Sinopec Relaunches New Image Standards in 2022

In 2022, after two years of investigation and evaluation in 2020 and 2021, the image standards, dormant for 15 years, were relaunched. Developing and periodically updating the image standards for integrated refueling stations is a necessary requirement for Sinopec's sales companies to build a new industrial structure, achieve world-leading strategies, and undergo digital transformation. Updating the visual identity standards for integrated refueling stations, unifying their appearance, and upgrading service functions are effective means to enhance corporate brand building, improve brand influence, and increase competitiveness. Our company was fortunate to participate in the design of the pricing standards, defining a new font and size standard for Sinopec's new image.


Domestic price adjustment windows operate on a 10-day cycle. Currently, with the development of new energy sources, the promotion of shared bicycles, and the reduction of engineering construction projects, gas station sales have been significantly impacted. In future competition, three key elements need to be focused on: brand image, product quality, and service quality.


Since 2006, Sinopec's brand image has remained unchanged, falling far behind other brands. A good image can increase customer trust and directly impact sales. Meanwhile, displaying prices can enhance the credibility of gas stations, increasing customer trust in the brand. This image-driven approach not only boosts fuel sales and competitiveness but also increases sales of non-fuel products. Currently, LED price displays are the mainstream international product, widely accepted by oil companies in various countries. They allow for timely adjustments, remote control, and coordinated adjustments, meeting the demands of today's digital development.


In today's rapidly advancing technological landscape and increasingly fierce competition, simply competing on price is no longer sufficient for successful business. Improving product quality and service standards, combined with a fresh and bright image, is imperative. Focusing on fuel quality, producing high-end fuels, optimizing service concepts, creating a superior customer experience, and attracting high-quality customers are crucial. Iterating the image enhances credibility and trust, deeply embedding the brand image in people's minds.


It is hoped that the new image will develop healthily and sustainably, adding luster to the Sinopec brand and boosting its competitiveness.
